Last week, we facilitated Surveillance Camera training for Council staff in Cessnock as part of the Hunter Central Coast Regional Illegal Dumping (RID) Program. The program is funded by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) across the 11 member councils of the Hunter and Central Coast region.
The day included a significant legislative and practical component that related to the deployment of surveillance cameras in natural areas of the Hunter region to record those undertaking illegal dumping offences.

The training was an opportunity to collaborate, share knowledge and resources and experience in tackling illegal dumping.
