Explore our Region with Events10 Itineraries

  • December 18, 2023

Looking for things to do across our region over the Christmas break? Whether you’re having a staycation or hosting family and friends this holiday season, our Events10 itineraries have something for you!

Spanning across coasts, valleys, and mountains, our itineraries were designed to showcase our region and encourage cross regional travel. They provide a collection of itinerary ideas that can be done in three days in all areas of the Hunter – it really is an opportunity to choose your own adventure!

Coastal Vibes

Dive into the beauty of Barrington Coast, Port Stephens, Newcastle, and Lake Macquarie. From delectable local food to thrilling whale watching, our coastal itinerary promises adventure and relaxation.

Our coastal itinerary has some of our top ideas for your group to get the most out of these destinations. Some are short experiences, and some take up a whole day! Experiences include local food and fresh oysters, picturesque beaches and coastal walks, surfing, camel riding, and island and lake explorations.

Valley Vibes

With endless rolling hills and lush greenery, broken up by quaint towns and sprawling vineyards, the Hunter Valley has plenty of charm and excitement for your holiday explorations!

Crossing into Muswellbrook, Singleton, Cessnock and Maitland, our valley itinerary showcases the charming, historic, and winery areas of the Hunter. Experiences include chocolate and cheese tasting, art and cultural centres, heritage walks, farm and vineyard tours, museums, incredible food, hot air balloons – and plenty of wine!

Mountain Highs

Our Mountain Highs itinerary helps you find the hidden gems of our country towns. The Events10 mountain ranges rise from the valleys, making way for lush rainforests and cascading waterfalls that provide the perfect backdrop for the smalltown hospitality!

The wonders of nature reveal themselves at every turn on this route through Wingham, Gloucester, over the mighty Barrington Tops to Scone and Murrurundi. Experiences include country cafes, pubs and distilleries, waterfalls and nature walks, mountain biking, ghost tours, wineries, thoroughbred stud tours and, of course, burning mountain.

You can also search our experience listings, with hundreds of ideas for any taste and adrenaline level. Whether you’re looking for indoors or outdoors, daytime or nighttime, our experience listings have it all!
