As part of our A2E Accelerating Events Economies project, we have engaged with over 100 stakeholders in the economic development, tourism, and events industry since January 2022.

A dedicated A2E partner task group has been established with representatives from all of our Member Councils, Destination Sydney Surrounds North, Department of Regional NSW, Hunter Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) and Committee for the Hunter.

Working with these stakeholders, we have recently developed a shared vision for events in our region.

Additionally, two consultants have been recently appointed to deliver a Hunter Events Facilities Audit and Event Economic Analysis for the region, delivering on actions suggested from stakeholders as part of the A2E project.
