Hospitality Sector Unites to Drive Circular Change in the Hunter

  • August 28, 2025

At the end of July, hospitality businesses across the Hunter gathered at MoA Coffee in Carrington for a Hunter Hospitality Circularity Network Workshop, organised by Go Circular in partnership with the Hunter Joint Organisation. The free event brought together hospitality leaders, staff, producers, and waste and recycling providers for hands-on conversation and collaboration.

The event also heard from the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) on the upcoming Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) mandate for hospitality businesses.

Attendees shared success stories, collaborated on solutions, and strengthened connections within the sector, highlighting the region’s commitment to sustainable, low-waste practices.
