Waste and Resource Recovery Team Restructure

  • July 27, 2021
  • Circular Economy, Hunter JO, Hunter Region, Small Acts Big Change, Waste, waste behaviour change

The Hunter JO’s Regional Waste and Resource Recovery (WARR) Team has recently undergone a restructure to bring in resources for the Circular Economy program and provide support for the existing waste program activities.

We are very excited to introduce Eloise Lobsey as the new Regional Policy and Program Coordinator for WARR and Circular Economy. Eloise’s experience within local government and expertise with environment and waste programs presents an exciting opportunity for the development of the WARR programs.

Kali Somerville also joins the team as the WARR Communications Officer 2 days per week, providing media and communications support for WARR’s programs and events. Upcoming, we have a vacancy for a part time Regional Policy and Program Officer role to support the WARR team 2.5 days per week.

We have also farewelled out Regional Waste Coordinator, Siobhan Isherwood, who has now left the organisation. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and thank her for her dedication as an integral part of the WARR team.

These restructures come at a very exciting time for the WARR team. To check out what we have been up to visit our programs page HERE! Or visit our website to keep up to date.
