You’re invited to provide your feedback on NSW’s journey to meet our net zero targets. NSW Net Zero Commission consultation process is underway until 11 July 2025.
Key details include:
- The NSW Net Zero Commission is an independent statutory body which monitors action on climate change in NSW, including how NSW is tracking on its climate goals.
- The Commission’s first report published in November 2024, which found that unless action is accelerated, NSW will fail to achieve its legislated target of a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
- The Commission current consultation paper is inviting your input to help shape its work plan, on which it inviting submissions.
