Get Ready NSW

  • April 14, 2026

Bushfires, floods and storms can put homes, pets, livelihoods, and lives at risk and everyday actions make a difference. The Get Ready NSW ‘Warnings’ campaign communicates important information to stay safe and what to do when Emergency Services issue Warnings during bushfires, floods or storms.

When disasters happen, Emergency Services issue simple warnings to help you make faster decisions. Emergencies can escalate quickly, so staying alert is important. Learn more at Get Ready NSW https://www.nsw.gov.au/emergency/get-ready

Are you part of a council, community group, local service or business? The Get Ready NSW Resource Hub offers a range of tailored resources that you can incorporate into your communications to help preparedness initiatives.

Together, we can help communities be prepared for emergencies and disasters https://www.nsw.gov.au/emergency/get-ready/resource-hub/warnings
