Electronic Surveillance Devices Training (Illegal Dumping)

  • February 27, 2025
  • Illegal Dumping, litter, RID

We were pleased to host an Illegal Dumping 2-day training course in February for Council officers focused on the nature, legality and practices for undertaking electronic surveillance to deter and identify illegal dumping activity.

The training was delivered through the Hunter & Central Coast Regional Illegal Dumping (RID) program, and facilitated by the James Vincent, Illawarra Shoalhaven JO’s Illegal Dumping Coordinator.  The following day James also visited Upper Hunter and Muswellbrook Councils to provide direct peer to peer training sessions sharing his extensive experience in illegal dumping investigations.
