Dynamic Presentations at Cities Power Partnership Forum 2021

Hunter JO wants to thank Cities Power Partnership (CPP) Communications Advisor Victoria Fratin and Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance Executive Officer Rob Law, for their engaging and expert presentations at our CPP Regional Forum in June.

Presentations:

Victoria Fratin focused on climate change communication and strategies to help you effectively communication the case for urgent action on climate change to decision makers within your council. Key takeaways from this presentation include:

  • Top tips on how to effectively communicate climate change
  • How to have more productive conversations on climate
  • Strategies to get buy-in for climate projects and programs

 

Rob Law’s presentation was about the regional rollout of EV charging infrastructure. He focused on an overview of how the rural and regional councils of Central Victoria collaborated on the largest Electric Vehicle Charging Network and the ‘how to’ of rolling out Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure.

Session two of the CPP regional forum then saw a council discussion of the Cities Power Partnership Regional Focus Areas for Collaboration. This session was aimed at council staff working on the CPP program and encompassed discussions based around the previously determined priorities within the program.
