The Hunter JO is currently working with the region’s councils and the Good for the Hood enterprise to run a number of community environmental education workshops throughout the region.
These workshops will focus on empowering ordinary people to create change ‘for good’ in their neighbourhoods, including improving waste behaviours. Dates and further details on these workshops will be provided on the Hunter JO website, so keep an eye on our ‘Events’ page to register!
Since 2018, Good for the Hood has been empowering ordinary people to create change across neighbourhoods, community groups and workplaces. By connecting with hundreds of councils, NFPs, community organisations and corporates across the country, they know how to build the link between passion and sustainable change, ensuring that efforts have maximum impact on our planet.
This workshop is being run as part of the Small Acts Big Change program.
