As part of the JO’s commitment to ensuring the enviable environment of the Hunter region is protected for future generations, a Fuel System Operation Plan (FSOP) Guide has been established. This guide will provide consistent communication between Council staff and Underground Petroleum Storage System (UPSS) operators throughout the Hunter and Central Coast Region.
This new guide enables industry players to better meet their requirements under the UPSS Regulation 2019, while optimising Council resources spent on communicating with industry during both construction and operation phases.
