Last month, our team had the privilege of participating in a Cultural Immersion Training Workshop hosted by Murrook Culture Centre on Worimi Barray Country.
Led by the Worimi Land Council, this experience was more than a training it was a powerful journey and reflection into Aboriginal culture, history, and connection to land.
The day consisted of an interactive presentation and the exciting opportunity to observe and explore the Stockton Beach Sand Dunes and cultural middens, which provided a deep insight into resilience, significance, and ongoing connection to place
Thank you to the facilitators for leading us through a powerful day of learning. This experience will continue to help shape how we work alongside Aboriginal communities across the Hunter region.
