Kevin Liang, Senior Project Officer – Electric Fleets Programs
Kevin is a Senior Project Officer within the NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, supporting the large‑scale transition of government and commercial fleets to electric vehicles. With a Bachelor of Business (e‑Business) from Western Sydney University and a Bachelor of Science from UNSW, Kevin brings more than a decade of cross‑sector experience spanning automotive research, EV program delivery, and fleet decarbonisation strategy. As part of the Electric Fleets Program team, he contributes to the design and implementation of the NSW EV Fleets Incentive and related government initiatives, focusing on operational readiness, total‑cost‑of‑ownership modelling, and the practical enablers required for accelerated fleet electrification.

Summer Steward, Sustainability Project Manager
Summer is a local Hunter Valley resident with more than 15 years’ experience in transport and logistics, energy, mining and environmental compliance and sustainability in Australia. Summer is currently the Sustainability Project Manager for Team Global Express, Australia’s largest intermodal business, and was bought on to manage the ARENA funded 60 vehicle battery electric truck trial at Bungarribee, NSW. She was previously the Environment Manager for AGLs Bayswater and Liddell Power Stations, overseeing compliance and improvement projects over an 8 year period. Sean Carter, Fleet Supervisor
Sean holds Bachelor of Business and International Business degree with the University of New England and has worked in Australia’s automotive and Local Government sectors for over 25 years, in Technician, Service Manager, Aftersales Manager, and Fleet Supervisor Roles. In his current role as Fleet Supervisor at Port Stephens Council, he oversees the Fleet component of Councils Emission Reduction Plan and is managing the introduction of battery electric trucks into the council’s heavy vehicle fleet.

Brendan Doyle, Lead Consultant
Brendan has over a decade of experience in the Australian automotive industry, specialising in helping private customers and business fleets select the right vehicles for their needs.
His passion for electric vehicles began in 2009 while living in Norway, giving him more than 15 years of hands-on insight into EV technology and the psychology of adoption.
Brendan works closely with Australian businesses of all sizes to deliver smooth and successful transitions to electric fleets. He strongly believes that successful EV rollouts start with the people and are achieved through close partnership with all stakeholders across the organisation.

Daniel Severino, Director Learning & Teaching – Automotive Industries
With more than a decade of leadership experience across vocational education and industry engagement, Daniel currently serves as Director of Automotive Industries within the Agribusiness, Transport & Manufacturing Faculty at TAFE NSW. Prior to this role, Daniel held key positions including Change Manager for the Regional Business Group, Manager of the Manufacturing Industry Liaison Unit, and Head Teacher of Automotive at the Shellharbour campus. Across these roles, he has built a strong track record in organisational transformation, industry collaboration, and the development of high‑quality training programs that support both learners and emerging industry needs. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Vocational Education and Training from Charles Sturt University.
